Why I Still Read My Own Book. And Why You Should Too

Written on September 3, 2025

This week marks 5 years since I held The Worthy Wardrobe: Your Guide to Style, Shopping and Soul in my hands for the first time.

It’s hard to put into words what this book has meant to me. On a recent Instagram post, someone commented that this book changed their life. And I say this not from ego, but from deep sincerity, I know it’s true because it changed mine too.

While my name is on the cover, these words didn’t come from me; they came through me. From a higher power that knew these were the words I needed to hear 10, 15, 20 years ago when I didn’t feel secure in who I was. Maybe they’re the words you needed to hear too.

Writing The Worthy Wardrobe gave me a message, sharing it has given me a mission: to help women everywhere know they are worthy of being seen. The last five years have been about learning to live this message myself.

Investing in Yourself

One of the most powerful principles from the book centers on intentional investing, not just in clothes, but in yourself. Because the deeper truth is this: You are your best investment.

This lesson has completely transformed how I work with clients. My work isn’t about buying new clothes for vanity’s sake. It’s about helping you express the best possible version of yourself, and that brings me so much joy.

That’s why I’m restructuring my services around a philosophy of Buy Less. Wear More. The packages now focus not only on accumulation but on clarity, with options starting as low as $295. There’s an intentional way to invest in yourself that fits your needs and budget. Check out all the options here.

Practicing What I Preach

Speaking of being worthy of being seen, I have to be honest with you. While getting on a stage has never scared me, social media has. As someone who still struggles with being visible online, I find myself reading my own book for reminders. It tells me that I’m worthy of being seen, even when the fear feels bigger than the mission.

That’s exactly why I’m so excited about the Style, Shape and Soul Tour starting this September. There’s something powerful about showing up in person, connecting, whether its virtually or in person.

Let’s Celebrate This Journey

Whether you’ve been with me since day one (shoutout to my Worthy Wardrobe Community who helped me finalize this book in our weekly meetings) or you’re just discovering this message – thank youThank you for sharing your stories, for letting me share mine, and for thinking differently about yourself and your wardrobe.

Ready to make your own intentional investment?

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support of me, my work, and this book baby of mine.

Yours in Style, Shopping & Soul,
Morgan
